
The Combined Meeting 2025, incorporating the 4th Conference of the Malaysian Society for Hip & Knee Surgeons (MSHKS), the 11th Annual Meeting of the Arthroplasty Society in Asia (ASIA), and the 17th Annual Meeting of the ASEAN Arthroplasty Association (AAA), was held from 13–16 August 2025 at the Hilton Kuala Lumpur. Guided by the theme “Bespoke Hip & Knee Surgery,” the conference delivered a robust scientific programme featuring plenary lectures, parallel symposiums, free paper sessions, industry symposiums, and a comprehensive exhibition. Key highlights included hands-on pre-conference workshops on robotic and digital surgery, innovation showcases, and surgical video sessions focused on personalised approaches to hip and knee arthroplasty.
The meeting brought together a distinguished international faculty from across Asia, Europe, Australia, and North America, covering topics such as robotic-assisted arthroplasty, joint preservation, revision techniques, and emerging technologies including artificial intelligence. High-quality oral and e-poster presentations showcased current research and clinical outcomes, while prestigious awards recognising excellence in orthopaedic research further enhanced the academic impact of the event.
A total of 584 delegates from 24 countries attended the conference, reflecting its strong regional and global reach. The audience comprised orthopaedic surgeons, trainees, researchers, and industry partners, with particularly strong participation from Malaysia and across the Asia-Pacific region. The meeting provided a valuable platform for education, collaboration, and professional networking within the international hip and knee surgery community across worldwide.
