We were thrilled to announce the second Fragility Fracture Network Malaysia (FFNM) annual congress, which took place at VE Hotel & Residence, Bangsar South from 3rd - 4th November 2023. The theme for this year's congress was "Team Up For Fragility Fractures," highlighting the importance of collaboration and teamwork in preventing and treating fragility fractures. We invited physicians, orthopaedic surgeons, anaesthetists and colleagues from allied health, nursing, and related medical specialties to share knowledge, skills, and experiences in preventing and treating fragility fractures.

The Malaysian Arthroscopy Society is celebrated its 10th Anniversary, marked a decade of remarkable growth and success. This milestone is a testament to the dedication of its members and industry partners. The 10th Annual Scientific Meeting, with international speakers, promises to be a knowledge-sharing platform, while the first-ever MAS Quiz championship will bring together medical students for friendly competition. It's a time to reflect on their journey and anticipate a promising future in arthroscopic surgery and orthopedic sports medicine in Malaysia.

34th ASCOMOS 2023 united 900 delegates, immersing them in the forefront of oncology breakthroughs. With an impressive showcase of 30+ exhibitors, the event pulsated with the latest advancements and cutting-edge insights, fostering a dynamic atmosphere of learning and exploration.

Besides the usual 3 tracks, MSN 2023 which was held in Kuching ran an Epilepsy Track to highlight the theme of Advancing Science Towards Better Epilepsy Care. The key highlight is that the conference gather KOL in the Epilepsy field such as Prof Dr Terence O’ Brien and Prof Dr Patrick Kwan. An Art Exhibition was also included in the conference featuring arts from patients that are fighting with Epilepsy.

PACTALS 2023 hosted 471 attendees from 27 countries all over the world. Notably, the consortium organized a dedicated PACTALS PLWALS and Advocacy Programme Day, fostering networking and collaboration among the neurologists, caregivers, and ALS patients. This initiative aimed to enhance support and knowledge-sharing within the global ALS community. The favorite session from all, is the Plenary session that covers the Overview of ALS in the Asia-Pacific Region.

This conference had a great impact with 500 participants attended and a meaningful Fun Run for stroke awareness, honored by Deputy Minister of Health, YB Dato Lukanisman Bin Awang Sauni. Additionally, the conference championed a donation campaign, benefiting the Ronald McDonald House and supporting children in their recovery journey.

MCOR 2023 is a collaborative effort between The Royal College of Radiologists, Asian Oceanian Society of Radiology and the Korean Society of Radiology, featuring special friendship symposiums that underscore the synergy and global commitment to advancing radiological knowledge. The event is also graced by the presence of the President of the Royal College of Radiology, Prof Dr Katherine Halliday as our keynote speaker.

With an impressive turnout of 800+ delegates, the annual conference served as beacon for discussion on groundbreaking innovations and updates within the field. Notably, the conference provided a comprehensive platform for professionals to immerse themselves in the latest advancements, fostering an environment of knowledge exchange and collaboration.

The 52nd MOA ASM soared to unprecedented heights, welcoming a record-breaking 3,000 attendees and introducing a dynamic new program structure. Among the innovative highlights were the MOA Presidents Quiz Cup, Lightning Sessions, and Orthoquest. Embracing sustainability as its core theme, the MOA ASM set a new standard by introducing eco-friendly initiatives such as recycled lanyards, eliminating plastic pouches, and providing reusable water bottles.
