
The Lung Cancer Symposium 2025 was a specialised scientific meeting dedicated to advancing multidisciplinary collaboration and clinical excellence in lung cancer management. Anchored by the theme “Optimising Lung Cancer Care,” the symposium focused on translating evolving evidence into practical strategies across diagnosis, treatment, and supportive care.
The symposium welcomed 359 participants from 9 countries, representing a broad spectrum of healthcare professionals, including oncologists, respiratory physicians, pulmonologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, radiation therapists, pathologists, pharmacists, nurses, researchers, and allied healthcare professionals.
The scientific programme comprised a total of 23 sessions, including lecture sessions, pre-congress workshops, multidisciplinary team (MDT) discussions, and sponsored symposia. Lecture sessions covered core clinical topics, while MDT discussions addressed complex clinical cases. Hands-on workshops provided practical learning opportunities, and poster judging encouraged academic exchange and showcased emerging research.
